Umbrella Labs terms and conditions
These terms and conditions apply to everyone who uses umbrellalabsus.com or buys from Umbrella Labs. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them before you check out.
Research use only
Every product Umbrella Labs sells is for laboratory research use only. Our products are not for human or veterinary use, and they are not foods, drugs, supplements or cosmetics. They must not be used on people or animals, and they must not be used to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. By ordering, you confirm that you’ll handle and store them as research materials and follow the laws that apply where you are.
Who can order
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that’s higher, to buy from Umbrella Labs. You’re responsible for making sure the products you order are legal to buy and possess in your location.
Orders and pricing
- Prices are shown in US dollars and can change at any time before you place an order.
- An order is accepted when we confirm it. We can refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is listed with the wrong price or we suspect misuse.
- If we cancel an order after payment, we’ll refund the amount paid.
Product information
We work hard to keep product pages accurate, including purity, CAS numbers, specifications and storage notes. Research summaries describe published studies and are for background only. They are not claims about what a product does in people. See our lab testing page for how purity is checked.
Shipping, damaged items and returns
If something arrives damaged or isn’t what you ordered, email sales@umbrellalabsus.com with your order number and photos, and we’ll work out the next step with you. Because research materials can’t be resold once they’ve left our control, opened products generally can’t be returned.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Umbrella Labs isn’t liable for any loss or harm caused by using our products other than as described here, including any use on people or animals. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Use of the website
The text, images and design of umbrellalabsus.com belong to Umbrella Labs. You may not copy them for commercial use without permission. Your personal information is handled as described in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
