Working with nootropic powders

You’ll need a scale that reads to at least 0.01g, and ideally 0.001g for small amounts. Our micro scoops are a quick way to get close to the target before you fine-tune on the scale.

Close the bag or jar straight after weighing so the powder doesn’t pick up moisture. If you’re making solutions, check solubility first and test a small amount.

How we test our nootropic powders

Each batch is checked by LC-MS (liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry), which confirms both what the compound is and how pure it is. Each product page lists the purity and the CAS number where one exists. Write the batch number from the label into your records, since small differences between batches are normal.

What you’ll find on each product page

Every product page has a short summary of what the compound is, a specifications list with the CAS number, molecular formula and weight where they exist, and a plain summary of the published research with a link to the papers on PubMed. You’ll also find the available sizes or formats, the price for each option, and storage and handling notes.

If a compound is new and hasn’t been studied much, the page says so. It’s better to know that before you plan a study around it.
