Measuring ACE-167 liquid
The liquid form saves you the work of dissolving powder. ACE-167 is already in solution at 5mg/mL, so every millilitre holds the same amount. A 1mL draw gives you 5mg.
Use a clean graduated pipette or dropper for each draw so nothing goes back into the bottle. Shake gently first, because some solutions settle over time. We stock transfer pipettes and dropper bottles if you need them.
Making working dilutions of ACE-167
If your protocol calls for a lower concentration, dilute a measured volume into a clean glass bottle. For example, 1mL of the 5mg/mL solution plus 1mL of carrier gives 2mL at 2.5mg/mL. Use the same carrier where possible, or a solvent your protocol allows, and mix gently.
Make up only what you’ll use in the short term, and label the new bottle with the concentration and date.
How we test ACE-167
We test each batch of ACE-167 by LC-MS, which pairs liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. The chromatography splits the sample into its components and the mass spectrometer identifies them, which tells you both identity and purity. This batch came in at 99% or higher.
Small differences between batches are normal, so write the batch number from the label into your records. If something looks wrong when your order arrives, like discoloured powder or a cloudy solution, set it aside and don’t use it.
Storage and handling
Keep it in the fridge at 2 to 8°C and don’t freeze it. Keep the cap tight so the solution doesn’t evaporate or pick up contaminants. Label anything you decant with the compound, amount and date, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
