What is CJC-1295 (no DAC)?

CJC-1295 without DAC, also called modified GRF(1-29), is GHRH(1-29) with four amino acid changes that protect it from enzymes. Its half-life is longer than sermorelin’s, though still short.

It doesn’t have the drug affinity complex that lets CJC-1295 DAC bind albumin.

What studies say about CJC-1295 (no DAC)

The amino acid changes were described in work on tetrasubstituted GRF analogs.

Most published human data are on the DAC version.

How to mix a CJC-1295 vial

The vial holds CJC-1295 as a dry, freeze-dried cake. To use it, dissolve it in bacteriostatic water, letting it run slowly down the side of the glass so it doesn’t hit the powder directly. Swirl or roll the vial until it’s clear. Shaking can damage peptides, so skip it.

The amount of water you add sets the concentration. For example, adding 2mL of bacteriostatic water to a 2mg vial gives 1mg per mL. Write the volume and the date on the label so anyone picking up the vial later knows what’s in it.

We sell bacteriostatic water in 30mL vials, and acetic acid solution for the few peptides that don’t dissolve well in water.

Choosing a CJC-1295 vial size

The vial comes in 5mg and 2mg. The contents are the same apart from the amount, so the choice comes down to how much your study needs and how quickly you’ll use a mixed vial.

Mixed peptides don’t last as long as dry ones, so several smaller vials can work out better than one large one if you’re running a slow study.

How we test CJC-1295

We test each batch of CJC-1295 by LC-MS, which pairs liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. The chromatography splits the sample into its components and the mass spectrometer identifies them, which tells you both identity and purity. This batch came in at 99% or higher.

Small differences between batches are normal, so write the batch number from the label into your records. If something looks wrong when your order arrives, like discoloured powder or a cloudy solution, set it aside and don’t use it.

Storage and handling

Keep it in the fridge at 2 to 8°C and don’t freeze it. Once mixed, keep the vial in the fridge and use it within a few weeks. Unmixed vials keep much longer, so only reconstitute what you need. Label anything you decant with the compound, amount and date, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.

Common questions about the CJC-1295 (no DAC) peptide vial

Does CJC-1295 come with water to mix it?

No. The vial holds only the freeze-dried powder. Add bacteriostatic water to your order if you don’t already have some.

How long does mixed CJC-1295 last?

Kept in the fridge, most reconstituted peptides are good for a few weeks. Unmixed vials last much longer, especially in the fridge or freezer.
