Description
Our Clascoterone liquid is Clascoterone supplied as a measured liquid solution. Each batch is tested by LC-MS to 99% purity or higher. It’s $89.99. It’s sold for laboratory research only.
It’s also available as Clascoterone powder. See all research chemical liquids for more options in this format.
What is Clascoterone?
CB-03-01 (clascoterone, cortexolone 17-alpha-propionate) is a steroidal androgen receptor antagonist. It’s broken down quickly in the skin.
It’s FDA-approved as Winlevi cream for acne.

Clascoterone in published research
Phase 3 trials by Hebert and colleagues (2020) supported its approval.
It’s being studied in hair loss.
It works locally in the skin because it’s broken down into cortexolone, which has little androgen-blocking activity.
You can find the papers on PubMed. We don’t make claims beyond what that literature reports.
Measuring Clascoterone liquid
The liquid form saves you the work of dissolving powder. Clascoterone is already in solution at 150mg/mL, so every millilitre holds the same amount. A 1mL draw gives you 150mg.
Use a clean graduated pipette or dropper for each draw so nothing goes back into the bottle. Shake gently first, because some solutions settle over time. We stock transfer pipettes and dropper bottles if you need them.
Making working dilutions of Clascoterone
If your protocol calls for a lower concentration, dilute a measured volume into a clean glass bottle. For example, 1mL of the 150mg/mL solution plus 1mL of carrier gives 2mL at 75mg/mL. Use the same carrier where possible, or a solvent your protocol allows, and mix gently.
Make up only what you’ll use in the short term, and label the new bottle with the concentration and date.
Clascoterone quality and testing
We test each batch of Clascoterone by LC-MS, which pairs liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. The chromatography splits the sample into its components and the mass spectrometer identifies them, which tells you both identity and purity. This batch came in at 99% or higher.
Small differences between batches are normal, so write the batch number from the label into your records. If something looks wrong when your order arrives, like discoloured powder or a cloudy solution, set it aside and don’t use it.
Storing your Clascoterone
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the cap tight so the solution doesn’t evaporate or pick up contaminants. Label anything you decant with the compound, amount and date, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
