What is Vitamin B3?
Vitamin B3 here is nicotinic acid (niacin). It’s a precursor of NAD+ through the Preiss-Handler pathway.

What studies say about Vitamin B3
Niacin was used for decades to raise HDL cholesterol. The AIM-HIGH (2011) and HPS2-THRIVE (2014) trials found no extra heart benefit on top of statins.
