What is GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to a copper ion. GHK occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine, and its levels fall with age.
It’s used widely in skin and wound research, and in cosmetic formulas.

GHK-Cu in published research
Loren Pickart, who first isolated GHK in 1973, has published reviews of its effects on collagen synthesis, wound contraction and gene expression in cell and animal studies.
Maquart and colleagues reported that GHK-Cu increased collagen in rat wound chambers.

About the GHK-Cu spray bottle
This is GHK-Cu in a ready-made liquid, sold in a bottle with a metered spray pump. Each full press releases close to the same volume, so counting presses is a simple way to measure.
Prime the pump with a few presses before the first use, until you get a fine, even mist. Keep the nozzle clean and capped between uses, and note the number of sprays you use in your records.
Choosing a GHK-Cu spray size
The spray comes in 30mL bottle (400mg) and 15mL bottle (200mg). Pick the size that matches how fast you’ll use it, since an opened bottle is best used within a few weeks.
How we test GHK-Cu
Every batch of GHK-Cu is checked with liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) before it goes on sale. LC-MS separates a sample into its parts and identifies each one by mass, so it confirms what the compound is and how much of the sample it makes up. The current batch tested at 99% or higher.
Small differences between batches are normal, so write the batch number from the label into your records. If something looks wrong when your order arrives, like discoloured powder or a cloudy solution, set it aside and don’t use it.
Storage and handling
Keep it in the fridge at 2 to 8°C and don’t freeze it. Keep the bottle upright with the cap on, and wipe the nozzle after use. Label anything you decant with the compound, amount and date, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
