What is MK-777?
MK-777 (sold as acetamoren) is listed as an analog of ibutamoren, the oral growth hormone secretagogue MK-677. Its CAS number is 950841-87-9.
It’s a new research compound, and there’s very little published data on it yet.

What studies say about MK-777
We aren’t aware of peer-reviewed studies on MK-777 itself. The reference literature is the MK-677 work, including the two-year trial by Nass and colleagues in Annals of Internal Medicine (2008).
Anyone using it should treat it as a poorly characterised compound and plan controls accordingly.
You can find the papers on PubMed. We don’t make claims beyond what that literature reports.
Weighing and handling MK-777 powder
Loose powder is the most flexible way to buy MK-777. You can weigh any amount you need, dissolve it in your own solvent, or fill your own capsules. It’s also the cheapest format per milligram.
For small amounts you’ll want a scale that reads to at least 0.01g, and ideally 0.001g. Our digital scale and micro scoops make it easier to get consistent measurements. Weigh onto clean weighing paper, and close the bag or jar straight after so the powder doesn’t pick up moisture.
Making a solution from MK-777 powder
To make a stock solution, decide on the final volume and concentration first. For 30mL at 10mg/mL you’d weigh 300mg of MK-777, dissolve it in about 25mL of solvent, then top up to exactly 30mL.
Check the compound’s solubility in your chosen solvent before you start, and try a small test amount first. Store the finished solution in a labelled glass bottle.
MK-777 quality and testing
We test each batch of MK-777 by LC-MS, which pairs liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. The chromatography splits the sample into its components and the mass spectrometer identifies them, which tells you both identity and purity. This batch came in at 99% or higher.
Small differences between batches are normal, so write the batch number from the label into your records. If something looks wrong when your order arrives, like discoloured powder or a cloudy solution, set it aside and don’t use it.
Storing your MK-777
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use a clean, dry scoop each time, and reseal the container straight away. Label anything you decant with the compound, amount and date, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Common questions about the MK-777 powder
What can I dissolve MK-777 powder in?
That depends on the compound’s solubility and your protocol. Check the solubility data for your solvent first, and test a small amount before making up a full batch.
What scale do I need?
One that reads to 0.01g at minimum, and 0.001g for very small amounts. Our pocket scale reads to 0.01g.
