What is Orforglipron?
Orforglipron (LY3502970) is a small-molecule GLP-1 receptor agonist from Eli Lilly that can be taken by mouth. It isn’t a peptide, which is why it doesn’t need special absorption technology.

Wharton and colleagues reported in the New England Journal of Medicine (2023) up to about 15% weight loss at 36 weeks in a phase 2 trial.
