Description
With this Tesofensine liquid you get Tesofensine as a measured liquid solution. Each batch is tested by LC-MS to 99% purity or higher. It’s $99.99. It’s sold for laboratory research only.
The same compound comes in other formats too: Tesofensine capsules. You’ll find similar products in our nootropic liquids range.
What is Tesofensine?
Tesofensine is a phenyltropane triple reuptake inhibitor of serotonin, noradrenaline and dopamine, developed by NeuroSearch in Denmark. It was first studied in Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
Weight loss in those trials shifted its development toward obesity.

Research on Tesofensine
Astrup and colleagues reported in The Lancet (2008) a phase 2 trial with up to about 11% weight loss over 24 weeks.
Raised heart rate and blood pressure were noted at higher doses.

Working with Tesofensine in solution
Tesofensine liquid is pre-dissolved at 1mg/mL, which makes measuring simple: you work in volumes instead of weighing tiny amounts of powder.
Use a clean graduated pipette or dropper for each draw so nothing goes back into the bottle. Shake gently first, because some solutions settle over time. We stock transfer pipettes and dropper bottles if you need them.
Making working dilutions of Tesofensine
If your protocol calls for a lower concentration, dilute a measured volume into a clean glass bottle. For example, 1mL of the 1mg/mL solution plus 1mL of carrier gives 2mL at 0.5mg/mL. Use the same carrier where possible, or a solvent your protocol allows, and mix gently.
Make up only what you’ll use in the short term, and label the new bottle with the concentration and date.
Tesofensine quality and testing
Every batch of Tesofensine is checked with liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) before it goes on sale. LC-MS separates a sample into its parts and identifies each one by mass, so it confirms what the compound is and how much of the sample it makes up. The current batch tested at 99% or higher.
Small differences between batches are normal, so write the batch number from the label into your records. If something looks wrong when your order arrives, like discoloured powder or a cloudy solution, set it aside and don’t use it.
Storing your Tesofensine
Keep it refrigerated. Keep the cap tight so the solution doesn’t evaporate or pick up contaminants. Label anything you decant with the compound, amount and date, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
