Description
With this Glutathione vial you get Glutathione as freeze-dried powder in a sealed vial. It comes in 1500mg, 600mg or 200mg. Each batch is tested by LC-MS to 99% purity or higher. Prices start at $29.99. It’s sold for laboratory research only.
The same compound comes in other formats too: Glutathione capsules and Glutathione powder. See all peptide vials for more options in this format.
What is Glutathione?
Glutathione is the tripeptide glutamate-cysteine-glycine. It’s the main antioxidant inside cells and is used in detox reactions.
The reduced form (GSH) is what’s sold here.

What studies say about Glutathione
Its role in redox balance has been reviewed widely, including by Forman and colleagues.
Oral and IV forms have been studied in small trials.
You can find the papers on PubMed. We don’t make claims beyond what that literature reports.
Reconstituting Glutathione for research
The vial holds Glutathione as a dry, freeze-dried cake. To use it, dissolve it in bacteriostatic water, letting it run slowly down the side of the glass so it doesn’t hit the powder directly. Swirl or roll the vial until it’s clear. Shaking can damage peptides, so skip it.
The amount of water you add sets the concentration. For example, adding 2mL of bacteriostatic water to a 200mg vial gives 100mg per mL. Write the volume and the date on the label so anyone picking up the vial later knows what’s in it.
We sell bacteriostatic water in 30mL vials, and acetic acid solution for the few peptides that don’t dissolve well in water.
Choosing a Glutathione vial size
The vial comes in 1500mg, 600mg and 200mg. The contents are the same apart from the amount, so the choice comes down to how much your study needs and how quickly you’ll use a mixed vial.
Mixed peptides don’t last as long as dry ones, so several smaller vials can work out better than one large one if you’re running a slow study.
Glutathione quality and testing
We test each batch of Glutathione by LC-MS, which pairs liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. The chromatography splits the sample into its components and the mass spectrometer identifies them, which tells you both identity and purity. This batch came in at 99% or higher.
Small differences between batches are normal, so write the batch number from the label into your records. If something looks wrong when your order arrives, like discoloured powder or a cloudy solution, set it aside and don’t use it.
How to store Glutathione
Keep it in the fridge at 2 to 8°C and don’t freeze it. Once mixed, keep the vial in the fridge and use it within a few weeks. Unmixed vials keep much longer, so only reconstitute what you need. Label anything you decant with the compound, amount and date, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Common questions about the Glutathione vial
Does Glutathione come with water to mix it?
No. The vial holds only the freeze-dried powder. Add bacteriostatic water to your order if you don’t already have some.
How long does mixed Glutathione last?
Kept in the fridge, most reconstituted peptides are good for a few weeks. Unmixed vials last much longer, especially in the fridge or freezer.
Is the Glutathione vial in stock?
Yes. Every option on this page is in stock and ready to ship.
