What is Thymalin?
Thymalin is a peptide complex extracted from calf thymus, developed in the Soviet Union by Vladimir Khavinson’s group. It’s been used in Russia as an immune modulator.
It’s a mixture of peptides, not a single sequence.

What studies say about Thymalin
Khavinson and colleagues published long-term studies in elderly people in Russia that reported changes in immune markers and mortality with thymalin and epithalamin.
These studies weren’t run to modern trial standards, so the data are best treated as background.
The original papers are on PubMed if you’d like to read them in full.
How to mix a Thymalin vial
The vial holds Thymalin as a dry, freeze-dried cake. To use it, dissolve it in bacteriostatic water, letting it run slowly down the side of the glass so it doesn’t hit the powder directly. Swirl or roll the vial until it’s clear. Shaking can damage peptides, so skip it.
The amount of water you add sets the concentration. For example, adding 2mL of bacteriostatic water to a 20mg vial gives 10mg per mL. Write the volume and the date on the label so anyone picking up the vial later knows what’s in it.
We sell bacteriostatic water in 30mL vials, and acetic acid solution for the few peptides that don’t dissolve well in water.
Thymalin quality and testing
We test each batch of Thymalin by LC-MS, which pairs liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. The chromatography splits the sample into its components and the mass spectrometer identifies them, which tells you both identity and purity. This batch came in at 99% or higher.
Small differences between batches are normal, so write the batch number from the label into your records. If something looks wrong when your order arrives, like discoloured powder or a cloudy solution, set it aside and don’t use it.
Storing your Thymalin
Keep it in the fridge at 2 to 8°C and don’t freeze it. Once mixed, keep the vial in the fridge and use it within a few weeks. Unmixed vials keep much longer, so only reconstitute what you need. Label anything you decant with the compound, amount and date, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Common questions about the Thymalin peptide vial
Does Thymalin come with water to mix it?
No. The vial holds only the freeze-dried powder. Add bacteriostatic water to your order if you don’t already have some.
How long does mixed Thymalin last?
Kept in the fridge, most reconstituted peptides are good for a few weeks. Unmixed vials last much longer, especially in the fridge or freezer.
Is the Thymalin peptide vial in stock?
Yes. Every option on this page is in stock and ready to ship.
