What is Bromantane?
Bromantane (Ladasten) is an adamantane derivative developed at the Zakusov Institute of Pharmacology in Moscow in the 1980s. It’s related to amantadine and memantine and combines stimulant and anti-anxiety effects.
It’s registered in Russia for asthenia, a condition of chronic fatigue.

What studies say about Bromantane
Russian studies describe it raising dopamine synthesis by increasing the enzymes tyrosine hydroxylase and aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase.
It was banned after it was found in athletes at the 1996 Olympics and remains on the WADA prohibited list.

Working with Bromantane in solution
The liquid form saves you the work of dissolving powder. Bromantane is already in solution at 50mg/mL, so every millilitre holds the same amount. A 1mL draw gives you 50mg.
Use a clean graduated pipette or dropper for each draw so nothing goes back into the bottle. Shake gently first, because some solutions settle over time. We stock transfer pipettes and dropper bottles if you need them.
Making working dilutions of Bromantane
If your protocol calls for a lower concentration, dilute a measured volume into a clean glass bottle. For example, 1mL of the 50mg/mL solution plus 1mL of carrier gives 2mL at 25mg/mL. Use the same carrier where possible, or a solvent your protocol allows, and mix gently.
Make up only what you’ll use in the short term, and label the new bottle with the concentration and date.
Purity testing for Bromantane
We test each batch of Bromantane by LC-MS, which pairs liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry. The chromatography splits the sample into its components and the mass spectrometer identifies them, which tells you both identity and purity. This batch came in at 99% or higher.
Small differences between batches are normal, so write the batch number from the label into your records. If something looks wrong when your order arrives, like discoloured powder or a cloudy solution, set it aside and don’t use it.

Keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the cap tight so the solution doesn’t evaporate or pick up contaminants. Label anything you decant with the compound, amount and date, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
